Construction joints are provided wherever, for operational reasons, an element designed to act as a structural unit cannot be wholly cast in a single pour. Unlike movement joints, construction joints always incorporate continuity reinforcement.

RASCOR offers the following systems, which work in different ways, for waterproofing construction joints:

In selecting a solution able to provide optimum waterproofing performance, it is essential to ensure that all works can be executed using the same system so as to eliminate the need for switching the position of the waterproof barrier (external face of structure, interior of element, internal face of structure). Yet, grouting systems effectively make the above problem academic given that they always seal the entire cross-section of an element and can be incorporated in any construction joint.

For technical reasons, acrylic grouting systems offer the only all-round solution capable of meeting the wide variety of on-site requirements while imposing no operational constraints.
